While you were focused on helping your clients navigate tax reform, we’ve been hard at work making key improvements to our cloud-based tax software, Intuit® ProConnect™ Tax Online. From behind-the-scenes upgrades that accelerate overall performance, to continued, strong support for tax reform, you can count on ProConnect Tax Online to help make 2019 your best tax year yet. In addition to 134 new forms and 43 new e-file capabilities, ProConnect Tax Online has added new features and made productivity enhancements. Here’s what you can expect in our tax business software: Improved load times and speed: Pages now load even faster to save you time. We’ve also expanded your return view so you can do more in the same space. Enhanced collaboration for Intuit Link: You asked and we listened. We’ve added organizer templates and business collaboration, and built a client activity feed that quickly displays your client activity within Intuit Link. Apply for Pay-by-Refund1 in ProConnect Tax Online: Enjoy the one-stop convenience of enrolling for Pay-by-Refund anytime without leaving ProConnect Tax Online. You no longer have to wait to enroll, and the process is easier than ever with fewer steps. You can also choose between Refund Advantage and Santa Barbara Tax Products Group for your bank. After completing your application, you can monitor the status of your enrollment within your software. Help yourself and others: Access enhanced help features inside your software, without leaving your workflow. Features include help articles and FAQs, peer community answers, and tips when you need them. In addition, join the discussion in our Accountants Community to post questions and get answers from experts and other tax professionals. Point-of-need guidance: Our top customer service agents studied 75 of the most commonly asked topics regarding complex returns. We applied their answers to the respective points in your workflow, where you might ask the same questions. Rather than disrupting your flow to search for answers, just click on-screen and keep working. Read more about these updates and additional enhancements, and be sure to visit our training pages, where you will find bite-sized training modules with content, videos and webinars about these features and more. 1Pay-by-Refund or refund transfer program (“Program”) participation available to eligible ProSeries, ProConnect Tax Online and Lacerte customers for a limited time only. Program participants (will be designated to an incentive category as determined by Intuit and), depending on the software used, may earn a $20 credit or other incentive for every qualified federal funded Pay-by-Refund transaction as outlined in the table below (excluding Quick Collect transaction) that is filed from January 1st through the 1040 tax filing deadline of the then-current Tax Year through either of the following banks: Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, Refund Advantage, or River City Bank (each a “Participating Bank”). To be eligible participants must adopt industry refund transfer best practice principles by charging customary and reasonable processing fees, and federal returns must be transmitted to the IRS using a single account and EFIN. Federal returns that are rejected by the IRS, or deemed fraudulent, or a result of identity theft are not eligible for credit under the Program. If software and a user are eligible for credits, aggregate credits payment will be delivered from Participating Banks by May 31st of the current year. A $59.90 one-time bank set up fee applies to each federal Pay-by-Refund transaction. Additional fees apply to state Pay-by-Refund filings. Offer may be terminated or modified in Intuit’s discretion and Program and software terms and conditions, including available features, credits, pricing, and support are subject to change without notice. You must meet certain minimum funded Pay-by-Refund transaction thresholds in order to be eligible to qualify for free or discounted software. Is there any way that we could get a tax organizer from Proconnect? I love the program and the capabilities, but my clients really want to use organizers.
Hello Kim, You can use “collect data pdf” from the action menu from the return. You are able to customize it based on their client’s return information. We have enhancing personalized requests in the upcoming list of priorities but it will not be available this tax year. Thank you.
