Mainly clod gives the access to the environment where one can customize his needs but with hosted service one is limited to the feature and capabilities. Cloud provides elasticity that means costs can increase or decrease according to the demand where service sets a fee per user by which cost remains fixed. In clod, data is backed up automatically but in hosted service if one stops paying for the service then this data can be immediately terminated. If we decided to convert to ProConnect Tax Online from Lacerte, would we be able to convert all of our old tax files dating back to the 90’s from Lacerte to PTO?
