According to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), there were more than 28 million small business in the U.S. Small businesses in 2011, encompassing 99.7 percent of U.S. employer firms and 48.5 percent of private-sector employment. So, chances are that either you personally are a small business owner or some of your clients own their own small business. If you are a small business owner, we congratulate you today on your achievements and thank you for the growth that your business brings to your local communities! We know that your success hasn’t happened by accident – it’s due to the blood, sweat and tears you’ve put into helping your business grow and flourish. If you have small business tax clients, today is a great opportunity to show them your appreciation for their business, as well as their contributions to their community and the overall economy. Here are some things you can do to show your appreciation and get involved in National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day: Send your clients an e-card via your email client to thank them for their contribution to the community and for being your client. Share your appreciation with all of your clients and the rest of the small businesses in your community on social media. Feel free to reuse our e-card image! Shop local!
